end of festival wee session in bar - thinking of you Kate! 
we stayed in a lodge flat at the Atholl Palace Hotel!! R and i had use of the spa - fabulous. a leafy walk up a path to the lodge. nearby an ancient wood with a huge waterfall inside.

and the fish ladder! brilliant! they can record the amount of salmon that go up it - so far it was just over 4,000 this season. they swim through tunels to the next pool, and there are two resting pools for the salmon! didnt realise they could read so well..
and at the top of the fish ladder, and the dam, here is loch faskally.

the only problem with this blog i find is that the text and images never seem to stay where you put them, so sometimes the text doesnt make sense.
